a short story of epic proportions.

i want to write a book about a kid suffering from delusions of grandeur, combating simultaneous feelings of inferiority. he’ll live his teenage life looking down upon the people he wishes he could relate to, be like. drowning in the assertion that everything they are is everything he’s not, while praying they’re all listening to his tired tirades. he’ll go to parties, scoff at those that surround him, around the pool, on the lawn chairs, by the basement where an older friend takes orders for drinks, and wish he knew how to be like them. how to feel in place.

it’ll end with a giant TO BE CONTINUED…

i’ll save my ass and call it “semi-autobiographical.”
